Tracy Proud

I am an experienced psychotherapist and counsellor, registered with the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA).

Originally from Liverpool in the UK, my early career began in social housing supporting individuals with complex and unique needs. It was during this time that I realised my passion for working with people, particularly those who have found themselves marginalised, vulnerable or unheard.

My formal training includes a Graduate Diploma in Holistic Psychotherapy and Counselling and training to Level 2 in the world recognised and evidence based Gottman Method Couples Therapy. I am accredited with a number of professionals and professional groups including PACFA and ANZPATH (Australia and New Zealand Professionals Association for Transgender Health) and trained in Level 2 Gottman Method Couples Therapy.

I have has also worked therapeutically with people identifying as trans and gender diverse for several years.

Julie Chesham, Nest Counselling

Julia Chesham

I grew up in the Southern Highlands before moving to Sydney for 9 years. I now find myself back in my home town, drawn to the community feel. Originally studying education, I moved into managing a child care service. I found my niche in a management role and went on to complete a Certificate 4 in Small Business Management.

I moved into managing a practitioner’s office in the mental health sector. This role equipped me with industry relevant skills and a compassion for the challenges faced in personal life. As practice manager it is my intention to implement workplace practice and procedure to ensure clients get the most out of their appointments. I aim to create an environment where everyone feels comfortable and respected, while maintaining a high level of privacy.
